I just KNOW he will forget 1st anniversary. What should I do?

Our first wedding anniversary is approaching and I've just had a great idea for his gift that fits the paper theme!

But I'm 95% certain he will forget our it altogether, and it will just be like any other day. I'm not expecting some crazy grand gesture, but I know I won't be able to help being disappointed if he doesn't even acknowledge the day. But I'll also be a bit peeved that he needs reminding! 🙈 What should I do?

Say something like "wow I can't believe it's almost been a year since we tied the knot" 
Hopefully he'll remember and treat you to something special xxx

I always kind of prompt them by being like 'what day should I keep available for our anniversary plans?' Its a hint and a reminder without being passive aggressive or assuming he forgot

You don't need to drop hints or expect him to remember at the exact same time that you do. If you care about your anniversary, ask him what he wants to do to celebrate. If you just KNOW he's going to forget, remind him instead of waiting for him to forget and then being upset about it.

Its simple. Drop a hint, then you won't get upset and cause a fuss. Most men don't even remember their own parents birthdays.

The day we got married I got my husband a wedding present, it's a watch that he'd been asking for. I had our wedding date engraved on the back. If he ever forgets I will literally kill him. 😂😂😂

Sometimes you have to create to your own romance. Just be like "wow I can't believe our anniversary is coming up" and drop little hints like that even say "I got you something I know your going to love"

I am soooo upfront with my husband. I'll remind him. When I want to be suprised with flowers I tell him. When I want a random present I tell him. Honestly it's the best way.  No disappointments. He's not a mind reader just tell him what you want.

Unfortunately I can be incredibly childish and petty and I know that I would be pissed as hell if my SO didn't remember. But it tends to be me that forgets dates anyways.

Why do you assume he will forget? I think you should give him the benefit of the doubt but if you're really worried about it then just remind him.
