Is This True?

I'm basically due today (11/24/16), and I started to come down with a cold (head hurting, cough, nose running, and stomach hurting) Tuesday and still feel awful today... I've heard that getting a cold is a sign that labor is coming soon? Is that true or just a wives tale? And then about 15 minutes ago, I'm laying in bed, and my stomach starts hurting, along with my back, and it's coming and going... is that contractions? I'm also a FTM.... so I have no idea what's going on, lol. Monday at my doctors appointment I was only 1 CM dilated....
