2 for 2
I am not trying to rub it in as I've had 5 years of ups and downs...an adoption of 2 older children(CPS neglect cases), 11 failed clomid cycles, 3 failed IUIs, 4 chemical pregnancies....but I want to give hope to those out there going through IVF and infertility treatments.
February 4, 2015, we had 4 embryos make it to 5 day blastocysts. We had our best one transferred and on September 22, 2015 we had our miracle daughter, Catherine. She was a perfect pregnancy (until 34 weeks when she got in a hurry, causing pre-eclampsia and her need to be born at 35 weeks). She's an amazing baby as well.
October 2, 2016 we had one of our two frozen blastocysts (one of our 4 didn't make it to day 6 so we only have 3 total good embryos) transferred. I am beyond blessed to report that I am 10w3d pregnant. Yes, we are 2 pregnancies from 2 cycles! I know how uncommon this is and I'm NOT taking it for granted. I do have more issues with this baby.....I'm more tired, more nauseated, I have gallbladder issues but.... I am so blessed!
I want you all to not lose hope. Your miracle is coming. I'm not saying IVF is the miracle for everyone, I'm also not saying that it's not. I just want you to know that you're not alone and someday you'll find your miracle. God bless you all.
