I have a 5 year old son and when I had the baby shower for him I got a lot of useful things that I wouldn't have been able to go without. I'm now 16 weeks pregnant with my second child. We won't know what we're having until December 19 but I'm wondering if it's appropriate to have a baby shower for a second child. It's been 5 years and pretty much everything we had for my son has been passed to my younger sister when she had her baby girl. We will be getting some of it back, but she has a lot of pink stuff and I'm trying to stay away from pink if we have a girl. I don't want to come off as selfish if I want another baby shower because it's been so long and so much of our stuff has been ruined or gotten rid of by my sister. So is it appropriate to expect a baby shower for our second child?
