Should I Announce it either way?

Me and my husband are 2 months pregnant as of yesterday. We've had the ultrasound and everything looks good so far. I want to announce it today, but I asked my mom first. She's not happy about me being pregnant. Granted I somewhat understand because I will only be 19 when the baby is born. But I'm married, attending school, and live in another state completely suffient on our own. I am only asking her first because we're from the South and everyone loves to talk about people and I know they'll say things to her. So I at least wanted her to know we were announcing it (she's known we were pregnant for a few weeks now). But my question is, should I announce it even if she says she doesn't want me to yet? She's always been very controlling and I feel like this is honestly something she doesn't have a say in.
