Ivf with icis ?

Question

We will be starting our first round of ivf next year should we have icis too ? We are having ivf because of my partners sperm court and mobility. I am also egg sharing. Has anybody got any advice or stories ? Anything would be greatly appreciated nobody I know has been though this and I don't know massive amounts exept my own research. Thankyou in advance X

I highly recommend ICSI (nearly all of our eggs retrieved fertilized with it) and also assisted hatching if your clinic recommends it.

I would do it again. IVF with ICSI ups your chances especially if your partner has those issues. I did icsi and assisted hatching and I got pregnant.

ICSI has more success right and it is used when the males semen mobility/mortality is low. It's more pricy than IVF. Your consultant will advice u the best.

My hubby had a vasectomy before we met so he has noooo mature sperm at all! We did ivf with ICIS 15 eggs fertalized 10 made it to day 5. 1 is frozen and I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant first try fresh ivf cycle with icis! Wishing you all the best and sending you baby dust! 💖💕🙏🏽

Icsi ups the chances in cases of poor motility and morphology. I would definitely do it if you are able.
