Boyfriend wont take a break

Currently been in a relationship for two years. My bf sometimes,gets really annoying and immature. I get pissed off, and he gets mad. And blames me for being mad at,him like its my fault. I love him to death, but i want a break. Ive asked him before and he wont take a break. He says its either breaking up or staying together. I want to stay together, not break up. But he wont let me. And shrugs it off everytime i ask for a break. I am in need of a break but he will not let me take one. I dont know what to do. Please any advice would work
