My friend believes she had a miscarriage

My friend thinks she had a miscarriage. She got an evap on an hpt a while back and started bleeding the same day so she went to the hospital and got quantitative HCG and they said it was less than 2 (the cheap test had no way of picking it up...) but she acts devastated about it and says things like her baby died. I actually had a miscarriage at 10 weeks and she acted like her fake pregnancy was a bigger deal. It just bothers me. Doctors said she was never pregnant and the test was wrong. I understand she's been trying for awhile and I don't want to be unsympathetic but it's hard to be sympathetic about a pregnancy that never happened... am I a terrible person? She sent me a picture of the test and I didn't see any line. This was several months ago and she still talks about it 24/7. How do I tell her that she wasn't pregnant? I hate lying and pretending like she was because I feel like I'm feeding into it.
