How long did you stay in the hospital during labour, birth and after birth?

I'm curious as to how long most women stayed in the hospital for when having a baby. I would like a private room at the hospital which is $250 Canadian per day so I'm trying to gauge how many days I'll be there for.

I got to the hospital at 6:30 am, had baby at 3:42 pm, got discharged at 4 pm the next day. They make us stay a minimum of 24 hours after baby is born. So I was in the hospital for like 1.5 days

I went in at 7am on Sunday October 30 had my son October 31st at 12:37am left November 1st around 4pm

Got to hospital at 6am. Born at 1pm on a Tuesday. Discharged Saturday morning. This was my 4th baby and I've been at 3 different hospitals. I've always stayed 2 nights after delivery and discharged the morning after .

If you go into labor at night and deliver the next day;; you're usually in there 2 more nights if you had a vaginally delivery. C-section is usually longer. If you deliver at night before midnight it's usually the next day.

I had a scheduled csection and went in friday morning and was discharged sunday around lunch time. Basically 2 and 1/2 days

I ended up getting induced and then needing a c-section, so was in the Hospital 5 days total from start to finish.

In Norther California. I had a C Section... I went in on a Saturday Night was Discharged on Thursday Afternoon. A lot of the hospitals now only offer new mothers Single Rooms and if you have a csection I believe a single room is Mandatory. At least at the Hospital I had my Son.

I was induced on a Tuesday night, had her Wednesday afternoon but had to stay longer than normal because I was group b strep positive. We were discharged Friday morning.
