GENDER ROLES!?!

My bf and I are both working college students and he expects me to maintain the household and cook daily. I clean weekly and cook 1-3 times a week. He only has class twice a week while I go four times a week and he gets homes atleast three hours before me. I think at this point in life roles should be equally distributed since we are both so busy trying to make a life for ourselves. I'm not gonna pretend I'm Wonder Woman, I'M NOT! Thoughts!?

If he's home first he should make dinner. If something needs cleaning and he's home to do it he should. Same with you. Women do as much as men these days including WORK. Bull shit to expect you to clean and cook in addition. In my opinion the only time that's acceptable is if you are home with children and even then it is a team effort and if you need a hand he should give a hand.

Might make a list of the chores y'all do and divide them up. Laundry, cooking, vacuuming, etc... tell him you need help and that you would really appreciate it if he would do dinner sometimes or take the trash out when the garbage is full. Also, respect if he doesn't have knowledge in some areas. Some guys don't know how to cook, for example, so be understanding if he gets an oven baked pizza for dinner instead of making something. Doing chores together could also help, like folding laundry together so it is done faster 🍀
