Baby do not tolarate cows milk easyli, especially before one year. Even after that doctors do not recommend cows milk. I do not see any reason why would someone give cows milk to their baby

American Academy of Pediatrician s recommend whole milk at 12 months age until age 2 years, then switching to 1%.  Honestly, I hate anything less than  whole and so keep with whole milk.

One doctor told us 9 months was fine. The other said a year. 3 percent only. I have had 2 that couldn't tolerate it and we used goats milk and that was better for them.  I can't even gag down any milk. I nursed the babies until about a year anyway.
