Is this daddy kink relationship weird or to crazy?

So I'm 18 and I'm going to community right now. There's a guy who sits next to me in my classes who's 30. So we started talking and we both fessed up to being into ddlg. That wasnt to long ago. Now I don't play a really little girl. I pretty much just act a bit more immature. He plays a really good daddy role though. He isn't controlling over the things I do but he takes me shopping, takes care of me when I'm not feeling good, helps me with classes, etc etc. I haven't told my friends bc I'm afraid they'll judge me. Is this whole thing just too crazy?
