Credit?!

Does anyone know how I can build my own credit. I'm only 17 and would like to have good credit when I get older. Help please give suggestions.

I always advise to visit a credit union. Get a small very low balance card, but yes. You will need a job

You would have to have a job first to get credit to make payments start with a secured card at a bank

Apply for a credit card (I suggest the Amazon one). You can use it for anywhere, not just Amazon.  I'm 18 and that's how I've been building my credit. Just make sure you make your monthly payments on time.

Banker here!! Simple, low payment credit card, car loans, school loans are all good options. Don't take on too much, though, because if you start missing payments for any one of those, your credit will plummet.

Check out Money Under 30! They have the best advice on that. Start with a secured card, and only put small amounts on that you can easily pay off.
