zofran help

I was prescribed zofran Bc I have persistent nausea (not pregnant). So I am feeling a little nauseous right now and it feels like food is stuck in my throats and slightly burning and my stomach is tingling. Every time I swallow I feel more nauseous. I ate and apple and 2 pieces of an org age about an hour or two ago, and I'm supposed to eat dinner around 7:30 or so. My question is can I take one zofran now??
