Fitting a baby into a one bedroom?

I'm trying to figure out how to fit our coming baby into our 1 bedroom apartment. I'm a BIG planner and trying to figure out how I'm going to smoosh everything in here!

Did anyone else do a layout? I LOVE layouts.

I would do a sidecar crib (a crib with only three assembled sides secured to the side of your bed) or buy one like someone suggested in another comment, get a changing pad to use on top of your dresser (many are doing this now anyway instead of a changing table to save space in nurseries and cut costs), and if you don't have enough room for clothes get some of those under the bed storage containers. And just buy necessary baby gear, and the cool stuff they have now like collapsing baby tubs that fold flat. We are still TTC but we have about 2 more years of apartment living and we're considering moving into a one bedroom to save money, if we can't find an actual house. Houses are cheaper than apartments here!

I love layouts and I was thinking of doing one for the nursery but I totally suck at them aha and I don't have the patience to rearrange things and draw multiple blueprints.

I didn't do a layout but we're in a 1 bedroom. His bassinet and dresser are in a corner of the bedroom and I bought bins at dollar tree to hold toys, binkies, ect.

I have the chicco next to me crib. It saves so much room and it's great so you don't have to get out of bed in the night

I love layouts 😍 I'm not even pregnant and have been tryibg for 2 yeats and I'm still trying to figure out where I'd move everything if it ever happened 😂😂
