can I get pregnant

So a little story not to long but I gave birth seven weeks ago I got cleared around 3 weeks and of course I started to have sex I got on birth control yesterday he had me take two for the missed days and I took it this morning. We do not use condoms he doesn't like them so we don't use them can I still get pregnant even when he comes on me with breast feeding and birth control? Or how long does it take to kick in? .also I don't need any rude comments I choose not to use condoms and so does he because we are adults and can make our own decisions I don't mind for another baby just want to give my body two -three years to fully heal. I don't breast feed every day due to my supply going under I only produce about 2 oz for my seven week old and he takes 5oz. So he gets formula most of the time so I'm not 100% breast milk duty
