TTC question

Just to give a little background, my fiancé and I are getting married in August and I finish school in May. I want to start trying for a family but he wants to wait a little bit. I keep trying to tell him that it may take awhile since I currently have Nexplanon as my birth control method and that I should get it removed soon. My question is, when should I get the implant removed? I really want to start a family with him. We have our own house, we both have full time jobs, and we are happy. I just feel like we need to expand our family other than our dog. Can someone help me or give me some advice? Thanks!
