weird left sided cramps

My period ended on cd 6 and I'm cd 8 today. I've been having what feels like ovulation cramps. I've heard sometimes ovaries gear up to ovulate and then sometimes don't but eventually do a few days later but this is EARLY. I'm also using opks and obviously today wasn't a positive but it was twice as dark as yesterday's which was barely noticeable. I have Internet opks that come in 50 packs so I test once a day till I get to cd 12 and then start twice a day. And I usually ovulate between cd 14 and 16. A few months back did have an ultrasound with confirmed ovulation at cd 12 but since then it's been around cd 15. Is it possible to ovulate even earlier than that or is my body just playing games with me.

The top picture is yesterday's at 6pm the bottom one is 3pm.. has anyone else had early ovulation?
