husband is throwing up blood- drugs or cancer?

Don't judge I'm not in a state where I can read mean comments because this is so fucking hard already.
The last time my husband threw up blood he had stomach cancer. By that time he was clean since about 2 years. The doctors noticed that early and were able to remove the tumor at an early stage which was still a major thing tho because 1/5 of his stomach was removed. 
Just a few months after his recovery we've lost our daughter at 32 weeks and we literally went through hell I dont wanna describe it any further.
Last night I woke up because I've heard noises coming from the bathroom in the hall and I walked in to find my husband throwing up and I'm 100% sure there was blood. He reacted different then he did before he just closed the door in front of me and flushed the toilet, washed his mouth and went to bed. I was like paralyzed because I was SO shocked I didnt know what was going on. 
This morning he left before I woke up (I slept like 3 hours because I couldnt fall asleep after that) and I went through his stuff in his work room because I just had that bad feeling and he's always in there when he's emotional or down or something and I found tissues in there full of blood and a spoon that was lit on the outside and his lighters and I honestly was way too scared to keep on looking through his stuff.
I'm sure that spoon was used for drugs I don't know what to do I don't know if I should call him or wait for him and what to say and how to react because I think I'm right with all of that but I don't wanna be right with that and I'm so beyond scared something will happen to him.

I can't even begin to imagine half of that pain. I'm sorry for your loss and I pray for many blessing for you. He sounds like he's been doing drugs. The first sign was shutting the door. If someone is hurt or scared they're needing/wanting that feeling of it's going to be okay. Drug abuse is embarrassing for a lot of users.. hints hiding and keeping it a secret. I know God may have not been the first thing to pop up in your head to heal the situation but neither was confronting him about the situation. Y'all are one so whatever situation he is in, you're in too. Whatever pain he feels, you're feeling it too. Just in a different way. Lay this at Gods feet because I promise he is just waiting to heal yalls pain. I love you and God loves you!!

It's sounds like he's shooting up heroin. Heroin has a tendency to make you very sick to your stomach. Either way the blood is concerning though... it might be more then one problem going on... health and drug use.

If it were me I would sit down and approach him like you think it's just the cancer. Say that your concerned and think he should visit his doctor again to see if something has returned. From there you can gauge his reaction. If he considers it or continues conversation about a doctor visit/reoccurrence he's probably thought about it as well but if he gets angry and defensive saying oh it's nothing I would be concerned about him hiding drug abuse. Based on his reaction you can make a decision of what you feel is best

Drugs or cancer he still needs medical attention if he's throwing up blood. Try to encourage him to be seen, either way he might be scared to have you find out so if he knows you already know he's sick with something he might go easier. I wouldn't mention finding what looked like drug paraphernalia I would just let him know you saw/heard the vomiting.

It definitely sounds like drugs. That sucks. I'm so sorry. Drug abuse is a terrible thing. I'm also SO SORRY to hear about the loss of your daughter. That must have killed you! I can't imagine. You definitely need to talk to your husband though. Get it all out in the open! Good luck sweetie!

I am not here to judge and wont judge. Sorry for the loss of your angel. Your husbands been through hell and back with stomach cancer and this is serious medically. He got through this which i admire him for because this is a painful nasty disease to try and beat. It sounds to me hes taking heroin/crack by the way your describing the spoon but on the other hand due to previous stomach cancer its also a sign its possibly back although this does not explain the spoon so could be a combination of both. The only way to know for sure would be to get medically checked and approach him calmly and ask whats going on. Theres no easy way your going to have to just say we need to chat and its going to be very sensitive but i need answers and to know whats happening. With luck he will open up.
