I think it really depends on the couple. I'm divorced from mine but I knew a few from highschool who are still together and/or married.

My husband and I are high school sweethearts. Started dating freshman year, ended up going to college seven hours apart (long distance), husband (BD at the time) got diagnosed with cancer towards the end of our first year of college, and we have been together through it all. It'll be 10 years together in February, & we've been married 3 of those years. It's definitely possible. 💗☺️

Depends on the couple! I've known a few to stay together just because it's comfortable and they end up resenting each other and breaking up. But I also know a couple that started dating in middle school and got married a few years after high school. They're the perfect couple lol some people are just meant to be together

Married to mine! Together 12 years since high school, married for 4, through long distance in college and even longer distance in grad school, and 5+ months of even LONGER distance for training for work. Definitely possible💕

Possible, but I've seen it go both ways.  It seems to be ok as long as they communicate well and grow/change together vs apart.

It does depend on the relationship but I believe it can last. My husband and I had a horrible two year rough patch and it took a lot of work to get through it but we did. Through it all we never lost sight of the love we have for each other, we just had to work to see if we were strong enough to get through it. We've now been together almost 10 years, married for almost 3, have our rainbow baby on the way and are happier than we ever have been. It's entirely possible 😊
