DEPO SHOT RANT

I got the depo shot and I absolutely hate it. I talked to my OB about the risks several times while I was pregnant and she seemed to forget to mention the bleeding that I might experience. Anyways I have been bleeding heavily for 2 months (almost 3) since giving getting the depo. I thought something was horribly wrong because of the heavy bleeding and the large amount of blood clots I was passing so I went in. The doctor told me it was absolutely normal. They said some women bleed after the second depo shot and even after the third! Wtf. I am definitely going to switch to the pill. I realize I should of researched the depo on my own however I just wish my OB would've discussed this with me prior. She acted like the depo was easy/stress free and the worst thing that could possibly happen was weight gain.
