Bleeding after miscarriage?

So I went to the er Fri and left with the diagnosis of threatened abortion. Yesterday morning I passed what I believe was the sac and baby. Last night my bleeding was almost at a stop. Was on there when I wiped. This is I woke up to soaked panties and now I feel like I'm having a horrible period. I changed my tampon 20 minutes after putting one in because I bled threw it. Is this normal?  How long will it last? This was my first mc. Any advice would be great. Thanks ladies!

First you shouldn't be using tampons. I can't remember why you should talk to your doctor about it.  When I had my MC the bleeding lasted for 16 days.

I bled through my pregnancy very heavy did they give you a ultrasound because I also thought I passed the baby it wasn't how many weeks are you?

Tampons are a bad idea right now. If they haven't done an ultrasound, how can they possibly know?

Don't use tampons at all right now....I have had 2 natural mc's and both times I bleed for about a week. I'm so sorry you are going through this:(  it's absolutely awful. I'm going through an eptopic pregnancy loss now and have been spotting for 9 days! Everyone is different but if you bleed too much go back to the ER.  How far along were you?

If you have to change every hour or sooner that that you need to go to the er. You'll have to get a blood transfusion
