Who pays?

There's this rule that not many people know about, but many know about and it's the host pays. Meaning the person who takes everyone out for dinner pays unless discussed otherwise.

I take my guy out = I pay.

He takes me out = he pay

Our money goes into the same bank account, were married, our money is both of ours.

We're 17 so the only things to pay are dates, dinners, lunches or clothes. He pays for everything, I tried to pay sometimes but he just doesn't let me do it. I feel bad because we're always eating out and he is always paying. If we go shopping he's buying me clothes and staff....

If we are talking dates he usually pays and I leave the tip if it's dinner. Sometimes we split if it's and activity not sometimes he wants to pay entirely. I come prepared to pay but I he usually ends up paying.

Things for our son we typically split right down the middle. There have been things he will pay more for though.

I'm a SAHM but I make a little extra at home by watching kids. My husband makes like 6x more than I do, so all of the money I make goes to bills, he pays the difference, and we use whatever we have left to go out/buy each other gifts. We consult each other if we want to buy something over $50.
