When do doctors decide to enduce?

I'm 35w3d. I know they're not going to let me go past 39 weeks, due to blood pressure and her development being 1.5-2 weeks ahead of schedule. My concern is that my blood pressure has been creeping up lately.  Yesterday was 150/100. No symptoms of preeclampsia and my dr said not to be concerned until it's 160/105, but I'm not sure if inducing or scheduling a csection would be beneficial at this point.

With that bp they would try to get you a little further along so that your at least full term. Also they try not to induce before 39 weeks but will watch you. If your protein in the urine is non existent or low and bp isnt getting insanely high or creeping eaxh week they usually jave you wait because its vest for baby. Are you on bp meds?

If your doctor isn't concerned then they aren't going to induce even if you request it. In my state it's a law for you to be at least 39 weeks unless medical issues. Let your baby cook.. you've waited this long.. it will benefit a lot to let them come when they decide.

Doctors decide when to induce at different times. I will be induced at 37 weeks because of gestational diabetes and slightly elevated blood pressure. They don't want my baby getting too big nor do they want any complications on my side. They look at complications for both mom and baby to make the decision as what's best for both when inducing.
