My 14 week old usually sleeps from 8:30pm-5:30am, but she woke up last night at 11pm with sudden loud cries. She seemed panicked and clutched onto me tightly when I picked her up. I checked everything on her body and couldn't find anything wrong. I tried nursing her for comfort and she fell back asleep after about 5 minutes and slept til her usual wake-up time. Has anyone experienced this? Are babies capable of having nightmares? Or is this some other type of sleep disturbance?
