FREE BABY STUFF?!?! Real or fake?

I always see posts saying you can sign up and get all this stuff sent to you for free for your baby to try different products and such. Has anyone tried any of these sites?

A lot of them are real and they just send you a bunch of samples. They're hoping to get you hooked on their brand so you'll continue buying their products. Amazon registry box was probably the best so far but you have to have prime and have to get $10 of purchases from your registry.

Amazon does this thing if you make a baby registry and have prime, that's real.

Target has the best registry gifts! Lol

Sam's club has a baby box, it's petty cool.

Babyorganics(think that's what it's called) they'll send you samples.

I signed up for the Gerber thing online and they sent some baby food and a onesie but that was like 5 months ago and I haven't gotten anything else since :(
