My grandma is 20 years older than her husband, but they love each other deeply. This is her second and last husband.
And my other grandma is the same age as my dad, but they love each other like son and mother, even though they technically aren't re,ate anymore. She has been married twice, the first time was how my dad and her became related.
(Strange story for this one, so don't ask)

But overall it may just depend.
