eve notifications

Does anyone else not get notifications for this app? I've turned off pop up notifications but turned on the badge notifications (the little red circle that tells you how many unseen notifications you have) yet it doesn't seem to work. I don't get any notifications whatsoever. I've even tried turning on my pop up notifications and still nothing. I only have this problem with this app. Is it just me?
