When do I get to know the gender?

How long until I can find out the gender? I'm 9 weeks now, I know that's too soon. But I've seen different things so I was wondering when you guys found out the gender?? & any old wise tales you could throw my way, I'd appriciate it 😋

I found at 15 weeks 5 days but I paid $70 because my insurance doesn't cover it until 21 weeks.

I've heard you can get blood work done to get the gender results. I actually go in dec 21 to find out the gender. Usually people find out the gender around 18-20 weeks. (I'll be at 18 or 19 weeks when I find out) so excited! Once I find out, this girl is going to splurge on baby stuff! Lol

Had an appointment at 17 weeks baby didn't cooperate, went back 5 days later and found out it's a boy. All my old wives tales were wrong.

I'm thinking of using the Sneak Peak test. You can do it starting at 9 weeks and it's somewhere around $80. They send you a kit and you send back in a blood sample. It's supposed to be very accurate!
