HELP!! does this sound like early labor?

I'm 24 weeks as of yesterday and my lower back (mainly on my left side) is KILLING ME. I can't walk through a grocery store for 30 minutes without ending up in tears. I keep getting this random sharp pain (sciatic). It literally brings me to my knees. I'm so afraid that my daughter is in danger from this. Since this pain started yesterday she has been less active and I can feel her sitting VERY low. I'm terrified & in so much pain. I can't even stretch to relieve it because it hurts so bad. Does this sound like labor? She will be my first born. My next doctors appointment is on the 12th so I've been trying to suck it up until then, but if it continues to be so constant then I may have to go to the hospital for this. Someone please tell me this is normal and I'm just being paranoid!

I found out that it is sciatic pain, and that since she is so low and I'm carrying all my weight in my belly (I'm also only 4'11) I'm most likely going to continue to have back pain for the remainder of my pregnancy. But I followed the advice for stretching, I actually watched some YouTube yoga videos for preggo women and learned some new tricks, seems to be helping tremendously!! Thanks again everyone, I was just so paranoid lol but all is well with my princess, she's just happy and comfortable on my bladder & lower back. Lol !

I would recommend calling your dr. You can. Leave a message for them. Don't ever feel like you have to suck anything up and wait it out. If in doubt call and ask.

Call your doctor to be checked but it doesnt sound like labour. It sounds like you need a chiropractic adjustment though

Call your doctor if the pain is still to bad go in or call labor/deliver to see if they wont you in. It could be alot of things causing it (UTI, kidney stones, weight from baby, over doing it, and so on)

It sounds like you are hurting pretty badly from muscle and joint issues caused by the new weight your body needs to balance. I am going through something similar and I have never felt pain like this. Just go see your doctor and don't suck it up. He or she will tell you to take Tylennol, which is ok to do for a few days. But stretching is probably the only real long term solution if it is muscle and joint related. Stretching works for me even though I still go through phases, especially if I walk for long. I also have weekly massages by a specialist and those help a ton. Good luck!

My baby likes to be stupid low and then go up higher throughout the day. My back pain has been ridiculous from the beginning. If you're worried I'd call your dr.

My hip and low back have been like this for the last couple months, 27weeksncurrently.  I'm carrying my son really low so idk about your comments about your daughter feeling low since that's our norm. But sometimes I literally am not sure I can get out of bed to go to the bathroom. I've been having my husband rub my low back REALLY hard like pretty much a butt massage before bed and It helps a little. I talked to my doctor and they recommended physical therapy but I haven't had time with work.

Call your doctor. I had contractions start due to a bladder infection. They will usually get you in same day and check you out.n
