Kicking his roommate out

His winter break starts after this week which means he'll be back at home basically for the entire month of December, so instead of being 10-15 minutes away from each other we'll be about 20-30 mins away from each other.

Not a huge deal, I know. But that's not the issue

The issue is during this month long break we will no longer have a convenient place (his dorm) to have alone time/sexy time together.

Only one of his roommates will be in the dorm with him this week. So my question is: do you think it would be incredibly rude if he asked his roommate for an hour or so of an empty room so he and I can spend time together? His roommate is a pretty cool guy and it's not hard to figure out what two college students are doing in an empty room together. (One time he even made my boyfriend's bed and lit a candle before he left and texted my boyfriend about how he "set the mood (;"  for us 😂)

Also tends to make himself scarce when I'm around anyway because he gets we'll want privacy and all that, but we'd rather not be stressing about when he's gonna come back.

So yeah...would it be rude for my boyfriend to ask him if he can have the empty dorm for an hour or so? And if not, how would he go about asking 😅 This is really our last resort before we can't see each other much for the next month
