Dying your hair while pregnant?

I'm just wandering if it's ok if I dye my hair now that I'm 14 weeks , my hairs dyed a grey colour so my roots are gna need bleaching n toning to get it all grey again  .. I won't let the bleach touch my scalp n I'll make sure it's a well ventilated room but is it really safe to do it while pregnant??

I'm a hairstylist of 5 years. It is safe to color your hair with ammonia free color. My doctor even ok'd this after 12 weeks. She said it's a wives tale that it is unsafe she just likes to hold off in the first trimester while everything in baby is forming just to be extra safe. I colored my roots while pregnant with my son and he is a healthy 7 month old. I also worked up until I was 7 months pregnant with him. We have women who are pregnant in the salon frequently (clients & stylist) we just do not perform keratin treatments, perms or relaxers on pregnant women, and I didn't work with them for my entire pregnancy either.

Doctor said it was outdated advice and wasn't an issue- even bleach is fine! 
 
Just make sure you're in a well ventilated area

I'm a hairdresser and I have been for 2 years and studied at college for 3.....

Unfortunately you shouldn't dye your hair while pregnant, even if it is in a well ventilated room and things!

I have had to leave my job due to this, until bubba is born!
