Hi ladies!

I'm 31yo ftm, currently 9weeks. I have cystic fibrosis (cf) and cf related diabetes. It's basically type 1 but caused by my cf, not a stand alone disease. I was diagnosed at age 13 and had really poor control for my late teens/early 20s - once had an a1c of 14! Eek.

Been on a pump since 2011 and i love it! Had the animus ping at first and just got a tandem slim last year. Wanted a cgm but insurance wouldnt cover it fully so i decided to stay with the strips.

I had been preparing to try to get pregnant for about 6 months before ttc, getting my a1c down to 6 or below. The month i concieved i was at 5.8. Still super nervous about a few postpradial highs! Excited to talk to other diabetic mommas and share tips and experiences!
