take a test?

Well I deleted this app a few months ago out of frustration.. my husband and I have been trying for over a year following a miscarriage and a ectopic pregnancy. We each have a 3 year old from previous marriages.. after seeing the fertility doctor he said I would need a HSG test to see if my tubes are blocked. I am ovulating and he said there wasn't a reason to test my husband, he said given my past it's 99% my tubes. So we are saving and preparing for that test now. However I'm about 3- 4 days late for my period and my boobs are a little more full and sore. They sometimes get full before a period, but don't usually get sore. So ladies I'm wondering if it's worth it to take a test? I'm so tired of seeing the negatives, and after hearing the doctor say my tubes are probably blocked leads me to think I shouldn't waste my money. But it would be truly amazing if I was pregnant! What would you do? Opinions? Thanks!
