How did u explain to your childre where babies come from??

Im watching rugrats and its the episode where angelica asks the famous question where do babies come from? And the whole stork and egg thing comes up.

Keep it simple and age appropriate. My daughter is 6 and has asked simple questions but is under the impression that when you get married, you just get a baby. After she turns 8, I plan on sitting down with books, explanations and the whole shabang! At 8, their recognition of their body and sexual curiosity begins to form and I think it's important that parents are open with children and don't treat sex like a negative, naughty thing. There's a movie my mom showed me when I was younger, The Miracle of Life. It did a pretty thorough job of getting the point across to me:)

When I was yound I thought babies canes from by popping ur belly button 😬 tried it so many times but didn't happen... Until I knew where they actually come from 😂

My little boy is 5.5, all I told him was that the baby grows in mommy's tummy until it's big enough to come out....he hasn't cared to ask more than that
