I am a junior in high school, and today a speaker came to my school to talk about the Columbine High School shooting in 1999. The presentation hit me really hard, so I decided to share it with you, the eve community. The speaker was actually the uncle of the first student that was shot and killed, Rachel Scott. I'm not sure how many of you know about this shooting or how much you know (if you don't know about it please look it up, it is to this day America's worst school shooting), or how much you know about Rachel. I really wish I could tell you everything her uncle told us, because it really changed my way of thinking. It was an extremely powerful presentation. But I just wanted to make everyone aware of this thing called Rachel's Challenge, if you have the time please look it up. Also, remember to be nice to each other and tell the people in your life how much you love them, because tomorrow is not promised. ❤️
