Birth Control

I went to my doctors yesterday and i asked her about getting my tubes tied. She said they have a new verison of something like that where instead of tying your tubes they stick a copper wire into ur tubes and sperm cant reach your eggs and you dont ovulate so you cant get pregnant. She said its more effective cause it can be reversed since they just need to take the wire out. Im just wondering if anyone else has heard about this?
