Using walker stunt development ?

Does using a walker really slow walking development because baby can't see feet? What are some other ways to help baby walk? Just on their own with gliding and such? FTM

You can let them walk along the furniture, you can hold their hands and guide them as they walk. 
I have two sofas facing each other so my little boy would start at one and I'd sit at the other and call him over and that's how he first started to walk by himself trying to get over to me at the other sofa x

It shouldn't. All my nieces and nephews used a walker and they all walked fairly early

I would use a push along walker not the kind they sit in.
