I'm sick of my parents bringing god into everything, I'm pulling my hair out.
God is against this, god, god, god. "It says in the bible..."
I'm pulling out my hair when I bring in political and controversial issues into conversations, and they pop up "God" into the conversation.
Don't get me wrong, I believe in god, I believe there is a heaven and hell, but I don't believe that you are born to die waiting to be accepted into heaven.
I believe you are going to sin, travel, have sex and fun.
Experience negative and positive situations..
If you believe (my opinion don't get offended) that the only thing to look forward to is to die to be with god, your delusional..
I bring up about issues to do with abortions, sex, alcohol, peer pressure, friends, relationships, drugs, contraception, gay rights, transgenders/transsexuals e.c.t and they shame me and tell me it's against god..
I can't have an opinion in my house without being held by my neck (not literally).
This means, I'm not close to my parents and they always wonder why I don't speak to them.
They don't know I have sex, and when I asked to be put on contraception, they're nearly suffocated from anger. How could I ever tell them I have sex when they tell me they will enforce a statutory rape case.
Or how they tell me being gay is a genetic fuck up..
I guess I'm alone... I have no family I could possibly talk to without bringing god into it.
