Why are so many girls saying that it's to early to get a positive sign on a pregnancy tests at 3 weeks? I'm about 3weeks five days. I started getting positives right when I turned three weeks.

It all depends where your HCG levels are. Your body only starts to produce HCG AFTER implantation. Then it usually takes 72 hours to double each time. So very rare to get that early.

Most likely if you have a positive that early, you ovulated before you think or more likely to be multiples.

Because at 3 weeks the embryo has just implanted, there hasn't been enough time for your body to build up the hormones, for one. And two, your gestational age is counted from the first day of your last period. In a normal period, it takes about 12-14 days from the day you started bleeding to ovulate, then it takes anywhere from 4-7 days for the egg to travel from your tubes to implant in your uterus. With that being said, even at the shortest time periods, you still would not show a positive on a pregnancy test until sometime next week, because your body needs time to recognize the pregnancy,  so it's highly improbable that you would test positive at anytime before 4 weeks. Especially because you're not technically, chemically pregnant until at least 10 days post ovulation.
