Buying a crib. Now or later?

Did anyone wait on purchasing a crib? We plan on having our little one in the room with us for at least the first 4-6 months. But of course, things can change. Did anyone wait until their little one was actually gonna use a crib to purchase one? We currently have a pack n' play as well as a co-sleeper.

I waited on buying a crib for my first baby (the one I'm using for this baby too). I bought his crib when he was around 4 months because I wanted to see his sleep pattern and if our preference would change. It worked out really well for us 😊 I only have a crib right away for this baby because of using the same one.

We have our little one in our room with us in a moses basket and wont get a cot until hes too big for the basket☺️

I think we'll wait.  My friend just had her second baby and the crib wasn't ready for him but he's fine.  But you know like Amazon can get anything to you in a jiff you change your mind

I wasn't in a rush. I figured I had till baby out grew her bassinet around 4-6 months but I kept an eye out for a deal on what I was looking for and when I found it snatched it up at an awesome price 😊. Won't get set up until she needs it though.

We are waiting because we're moving in less than a month after baby is born, plus she'll be sleeping in our room for awhile anyway in a pack n play. So I don't see the need to rush out and get a crib until we are at least settled into our new house.

We are waiting because we move 2 months after the baby is due so it doesn't make sense to buy until we are setting up his new nursery

We did our whole nursery before our baby boy came. I never planned to cosleep but he is for the time being because he hates his pack n play but for afternoon naps I try to be put him in his crib and he sleeps in most of the time no problem. In my opinion you want the baby to get used to the crib for when you don't cosleep anymore
