diagnosed with minimal endometriosis; now what?

After many years of suspecting endometriosis, my laparoscopic/hysteroscopy surgery confirmed I have minimal endo. They found it on the back of my uterus, Fallopian tubes, ovaries all clean and open. They did find adhesions on the right side Of my abdomen, left it alone for reasons unknown. I will find out more next week at my post-op appointment.

My question to you ladies, is what did you do next to conceive? We've been trying for a year. We're ready to see a specialist. Husband's sperm is normal with a bit diminished motility.

Should we go right to IUI or try for a few months with fulmara?

I would heal up and keep saying your prayers! We were to start iui in January and got pregnant naturally a true miracle in early December! Give yourself 4 months or so! It took me 4 after lap!

You sound like me! We were sure I had it in April and I tried four rounds of Clomid because I didn't want the surgery from July to November. On November 18th I finally had the lap done. Some was taken out, some was left, and they found one good tube and one good ovary...on opposite sides! It's was mid cycle so we didn't try from November the end of December when a new cycle started. Doctor put me on Femara this time...I got my Bfp yesterday! I conceived the first full cycle after lap. I truly didn't think it was going to happen and had discussed fostering, even picked out an agency. I just pray our little bug sticks!

I went to see a practitioner of Tradition Chinese Medicine after I went off my meds (Seasonale and Danazol) for acupuncture and herbs.  I also took bee propolis and macca root.  Honestly, stop "trying to make a baby" and just HAVE SEX!  Stress and anxiety are your enemies while you are TTC, so chill!  I have two babies and it took 7 months to conceive the first, then only 3 months for the second.  Pretty sure we were having raunchy, wine fuelled sex for both of them 😉🍷🍷💋💋🤰🏼👶🏻

I also just had a lap done and my doctor found endo and a fibroid but didn't remove either. He didn't want to make more scar tissue from what I understand. He recommended that I do a 6 month treatment of Zoladex which puts you in artificial menopause to prevent more scar tissue from forming. It was either that or depo provera. Didn't really like either option as I have to stop trying during this time period but don't want the scar tissue to get worse. My husband and I have been trying for just about 16 months now and have had one miscarriage. My doctor said the treatment will raise our chances of conceiving to 85% instead of the very slim chance he gave us now. I wish the best of luck for you!
