Viability Question? So I will be 23 weeks in a couple of days. But when I hit 23+1, they consider it your 24th week.... but from the photo, on 23+1 your baby is viable. I thought viability was week 24. I'm confused. Advice ladies, please?

24 I think, but I wouldn't worry too much about it, that baby needs to cook as long as possible!

Some hospitals now days will try medical intervention at 22 weeks even! I did an OB rotation for nursing and we touched briefly on the subject. 24 weeks is standard viability week though.

When it says 23+1 you have completed 23 weeks and are in day 1 of week 24
