Can a baby have purple eyes?

This is my friends baby girl and she seems to have kind of pupleish eyes. As she get older they get even more of that color. My friend took her to various doctors and they said she is perfectly fine that is just her natural eye color. People say its strange to have a purpple eyes since it is extremely rare. What do you ladys think?

I see the purple, but they look more like a dark gray. With her complexion, that would look purpose.

You can see the purple but she has a blue outline if you zoom in. Have you seen the baby in person? My sisters eyes are all different types of colors, light blue, dark blue, and gray even some days. It changes with what shirt she's wearing. It's possible, but I've never seen that color.
