Possible missed miscarriage? Help!
Okay so please prepare for a long and slightly confusing post also I'm sorry if this doesn't for this category I really wasn't sure what to post it in. Up until now I believed I was 7 weeks pregnant and when I went in for my scan the midwife told me I was 8 weeks because there was a 'water sac' forming and she said that normally develops around the 8th week? However that wasn't the worst news she gave me she told me she could not find a heart beat and my baby was not the size of 8 weeks and that I may have had a missed miscarriage. I am extremely devastated and I am scheduled to go back this Wednesday. I have been researching like crazy trying to find out if there is any hope. For starters I do not believe for a second I am 8 weeks, but I've got no help because my lmp was September 11th and that would mean I am waaay farther along than 7 weeks nevermind 8. I was on the pill when I got pregnant so my periods were very irregular but I have a rough idea, I had unprotected sex on the 19th of October but I recently found out that you're not actually considered 'pregnant' until the egg has implanted which could take up to a good few days (I actually read the latest is two weeks) so would that not mean I would be even earlier than 7 weeks? And that would explain why my baby is small and why the heartbeat can't be found? I'm honestly just so upset and looking for any possibility of hope here. The waiting is killing me. if anyone can give me advice then please I am begging.
