I just want this to be easier

Karlee
I'm a ftm and I just had my baby on the 9th. She's small and had low blood sugar the first day so we had to give formula. My colostrum is super thick and I'm not sure I'm producing more than a drop. She doesn't like to suck, she does it for a few seconds and gives up/falls asleep. We've had to continue giving formula because she's super hungry, she eats like a beast and she's tiny so I'd rather she was eating, even if it's not breast milk. I've been pumping to get my milk to come in and I keep trying to breastfeed her, but I'm feeling a little frazzled. I don't know if I should stop formula and see if that helps or just wait until my milk comes in (what if it never comes in?). We've been doing skin-to-skin, but I feel like the formula is messing things up. Any tips?
