do maternity pillows work?

My lower back is killing me and I have seen those maternity pillows.. has anyone used them and does it work?

Yes! Having support for my belly, back, and something between my knees/ankles has been a huge help for my back pain. I'm 32+2 with twins and have been using one since like 12w. I would definitely recommend it!

I had a maternity pillow the size of a life raft and I loved it. I felt like an idiot at first paying for a special pillow but it was worth it for me. I didn't have to arrange a ton of pillows to get comfy and I could still roll from side to side in it. I'm only 8 weeks along now and I haven't broken it back out yet.

For my lower back I got a 12.88$ body pillow from Walmart. I returned a maternity pillow because I didn't like that it had a few pieces and velcroed together. That Walmart pillow was the best thing I've ever spent money on.

I refused to pay for a 'maternity' pillow so just bought a regular body pillow and a wedge and that works just fine for me

I just bought a $10 body pillow at target and it worked great!

I just use a king-sized pillow and it does the job.

I got one by Boppy @ Target & it helps some but it's not a cure all. It has 3 parts to it that u can Velcro together or use apart, I've used it in several different combinations depending on what was hurting more, I'm also sleeping propped up on 3 pillows & that helped when I was having sciatic nerve issues, I'm 31 weeks now & it's not easy to get & stay comfortable!
