constipation?!

I apologize if this is gross but here goes...
I'm struggling lately with constipation. And now my LO has been constipated too....I exclusively nurse her. Is she constipated bc I am? How can I help her? She's going 3 days without pooping and she usually goes once a day.

I take probiotics, same with baby until she started on solids

When my daughter was 3months old she started going days without pooping (only breastfed) at one point she went nearly a week! Her pediatrician said it was completely normal, as her body was simply absorbing more nutrients and her pooping would resume when it resumes. It did, she's always pooping now. Now I'm not a Dr and if you're truly concerned you should talk with one, I'm just relaying what I was told in regards to my daughter.

When my son became constipated I started drinking tons of water & it went str8 through to him. Next thing I know he was pooping back to normal 3/4 times a day
