should I test?

I have a question for mothers or mothers to be. I feel dumb for asking but I need advice. So I have always had a long and regular period, this last one was only spotting and it didn't last but a day. Usually I have cramps so bad I can't move but this time they were tolerable. My boobs have also been super sore and sensitive. I just really need advice on what to do.
