Nicotine restrictions
So there's this position that I've been wanting badly and I've been sprucing up my resume for like four days. Finally when I'm ready to actually apply to the job, a little ways into the app it says that they do blood tests for nicotine. If you have nicotine in your system, you won't be considered for a job. I'm used to seeing drug tests but to not hire a person over nicotine? What if the person lived with a smoker? What if the person has stopped smoking but they wear a patch or chew the gum to keep them from wanting to smoke? Has anyone else ever come across a ban like this on nicotine?
